Learn to Love Your Dad !!

YOUR DAD

When you were 8 years old,
your dad handed you an ice cream.
You thanked him by dripping it all over your lap.

When you were 9 years old,
he paid for piano lessons.
You thanked him by never even bothering to practice.

When you were 10 years old,
he drove you all day, from soccer to gymnastics to one
birthday party after another.
You thanked him by jumping out of the car and never looking back.

When you were 11 years old,
he took you and your friends to the movies.
You thanked him by asking to sit in a different row.

When you were 12 years old,
he warned you not to watch certain TV shows.
You thanked him by waiting until he left the house.

When you were 13,
he suggested a haircut that was becoming.
You thanked him by telling him he had no taste.

When you were 14,
he paid for a month away at summer camp.
You thanked him by forgetting to write a single letter.

When you were 15,
he came home from work, looking for a hug.
You thanked him by having your bedroom door locked.

When you were 16,
he taught you how to drive his car.
You thanked him by taking it every chance you could.

When you were 17,
he was expecting an important call.
You thanked him by being on the phone all night.

When you were 18,
he cried at your high school graduation.
You thanked him by staying out partying until dawn.

When you were 19,
he paid for your college tuition, drove you to campus, carried your bags.
You thanked him by saying good-bye outside the dorm so you wouldn't be
embarrassed in front of your friends.

When you were 25,
he helped to pay for your wedding, and he cried and told you how deeply he
loved you.
You thanked him by moving halfway across the country.

When you were 50,
he fell ill and needed you to take care of him.
You thanked him by reading about the burden parents become to their
children.

And then, one day, he quietly died. And everything you never did
came crashing down like thunder on YOUR HEART.

My First Blood Donation Experience

I work in a website developing company. I made many new friends within
short period of time at this office. One of my friend of the office
told all of us that who is interested in donating blood. Because he
had a neighbour who has his father in hospital with a hole inside his
heart. He said us if we wanted to donate blood to his friend's father.
The patient wanted A +ve blood. As I was thinking of how I can do
something good for others I thought this is the chance and I too have
A +ve blood. Actually we do so much things to ourselves like buy
clothes for our self, study for our self, make money for our self,
fight for our self and so on. We do so much things for our self and
there left no time and money to help others. So I thought this is the
best chance I have got and I didn't want to miss it.

We all five went to the Gangalal Heart Centre where the patient son
has all managed for the donation. After all things were arranged first
we two Saroj and me sat for the donation. I can't explain how did I
feel that time. It was mixture of nervous, confidence , humour,
kindness and pain. Before entering to the blood donation room I
remember the environment sounds too wired as if I am dumb and can't
hear anything. All the people were as if they couldn't't talk. I was
pretty confident that I won't be nervous. But it happened
automatically.

It was time to do the task. A doctor came and asked our names to fill
in the register. I felt that moment was moving too slowly as if time
has been stopped. Mine was the first and the I was hesitated. He asked
where that was the first time. I did say it was first time. Then he
pierced my left arm with syringe and blood slowly started to flow into
the blood bag. I could see the pure red like liquid slowly moving
inside the plastic bag.

After some minutes my friend's bag was full but mine was not. In the
place of him another friend came and he too went before me. I was
nervous because my blood was flowing very slowly. I had heard that
some people have like that.

But anyway, at last mine was too became full and I felt relaxed. But
the place where pierced was still paining. That experience was wired
and adventurous. And I do hope that his father became well and
healthy.

Presentation in front of teachers !!

Gone Saturday was our presentation in our college. Our college has
organised the presentation to increase the presentation skill of the
students. That is very nice to us being a learner. Before this too we
had several class presentation where I did too speak in front of the
class. At first, it was mess. What you wanted to speak doesn't come
out of the mouth. And the main problem is that we lack of confidence
to be in front of the class. But slowly I think I corrected it because
my last presentation was not nice but I didn't felt that much
hesitation and nervous as before.

I did presentation about the synopsis of our final project. I am going
to make an e-commerce site which is dynamic in nature. But I don't
know whether I will be able to do it or not because there is always
less time and there are assignments also to be done.
I had presented in powerpoint slides. I had make the slides very fast
but it was nice. I had also put some animation. So overall I think my
presentation was good.

A BEAUTIFUL PRAYER !!

I asked God to take away my habit.
God said, No.
It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up.

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.
God said, No.
His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary

I asked God to grant me patience.
God said, No.
Patience is a byproduct of tribulations;
it isn't granted, it is learned.

I asked God to give me happiness.
God said, No.
I give you blessings; Happiness is up to you.

I asked God to spare me pain.
God said, No.
Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares
and brings you closer to me.

I asked God to make my spirit grow.
God said, No.
You must grow on your own! ,
but I will prune you to make you fruitful.

I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life.
God said, No.
I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all things.

I ask God to help me LOVE others, as much as He loves me.
God said...Ahhhh, finally you have the idea.

May God Bless You,
"To the world you might be one person, but to one
person you just might be the world"
"Even the word 'IMPOSSIBLE' says 'I M POSSIBLE' "

Donating Blood !!

My colleague Sudhir Ji said he needed A +ve blood donor for his neighbor's father who is in Gangalal Heart Center at Bansbari. The patient has a small needle point hole in his heart. He is 63 years of age. His son is going to do all the effort for saving his father so he needed blood donors. Sudhir Ji asked us about donating blood. We four staffs were ready to donate viz. Me, Raju, Saroj and Suranjan.

So we all four tested the bloods yesterday and the reports came today said everything is fine and well. There is nothing bad. So I think tomorrow we have to donate the blood. This is my first blood donation so I am a bit nervous though due to the fact that it is for good cause I have come forward. I too have heard that donating blood makes more healthy. Though I too have heard that it makes more fatty. I wonder how much am I going to be?

I heard that Gangalal Heart Centre is medicating under 14 years of age freely. That is nice and a very much younger age boy had also come there to check his blood.
